Growing up in a family of educators, Rachelle attended a number of independent schools across the United States, including Noble and Greenough School in Boston, Seatle Country Day School and Webb School of Knoxville. She earned a B.A. from Dickinson College and a M.Ed. from Lesley University. After teaching Prekindergarten through Third grade and earning her certificate in Montessori education, Rachelle shifted into admissions because of her interest in working with children, prospective parents and faculty to find a match between family and school. Rachelle embraces Foote’s experiential and differentiated learning environment and vibrant, eclectic and warm community. She is also a Foote parent with a son entering grade 1 and has two younger children.

Kelly grew up in Toronto, Canada where she attended public school and was an active squash player. She came to the U.S. to attend college, earning a B.A from Middlebury College and an M.A. from Boston College. Kelly began her admissions career as a volunteer alumni interviewer and enjoyed helping students find the right college. Over the past 20 years, Kelly has worked with families throughout the admission and financial aid process in her work at Roger Williams University (RI), KingswoodOxford School (CT) and Choate Rosemary Hall (CT) before joining the Foote School community four years ago. In addition to her work in the Admissions Office, Kelly is a faculty advisor of the middle school Environmental Action Group and is one of the middle school squash coaches. Kelly experiences Foote’s project based learning, creative exploration and school community through her two children who attend Foote. Kelly enjoys running and reading as well as spending time in Vermont with her family.
